Lingonberry (aka cowberry) is a low, evergreen shrub that bears red
fruit (berry). Lingonberry is native in arctic the
Northern Hemisphere from Europe, Siberia and North
America.
The berries contain plentiful organic acids, vitamin C, A (as beta carotene), B1, B2,
B3), and the elements K, Ca, Mg, and
P. Lingonberry seeds are rich in Omega-3 fatty
acids and unsaturated fats. Freeze dried lingonberry powder and extract are found in dietary

Blueberries
are plants bearing dark-purple to
dark-blue berries. The blueberries and are native to

cultivated. The blueberry fruit is commonly used to make

favorite one. Blueberries have been called the "super
fruits" because of high content of antioxidants.

Crowberry
is not edible raw unless as a replacement for water.
Crowberry has a taste that is slightly acidic and
bitter. It is typically used as juice and jams, seldom fresh.
Both the berries and the plant were used for dyeing of
textiles. Old recipes from Lapland proposed several
different crowberry dyeing treatments and cooking times
to produce different shades of green, yellow and brown.
Today the crowberry is almost forgotten but it changes.

Wild
growing cloudberries are highly valued and a favorite
wild fruit of the arctic region. The edible fruit
colored golden-yellow having a form similar to the
raspberry or blackberry. Cloudberries begin ripening in
the end of July or early August and are picked by hand.
They are initially pale red before ripening to an
golden-yellow color. The berries are preferably eaten
